The Painting Skills Network Portfolio presents Units of Learning Outcomes for the vocational education and training of painters and varnishers at EQF levels 3 and 4. The portfolio comprises 14 units of learning outcomes, each described in the form of knowledge, skills and competences, with both technical specifications and detailed explanations provided for each individual unit.
The portfolio extends to 14 individual units of learning outcomes covering areas such as mathematics, measurement and calculations, health and safety, environment, handling information and communication technology, customer orientation, planning of processing procedures, materials and tools and working methods. There are no pre-conditions or access limitations with the units of learning outcomes available in both English and German and able to be used to support the development and delivery of future vocational training programmes. A Creative Commons licensing model has been adopted.
