Introduction to Work-based Learning
In this introductory section of the Toolkit, we present the goals and principles of Work-based Learning, or WBL, confirming: what WBL means to different policy and practitioner audiences; the core beneficiaries of WBL (including but not limited to individual learners) and potential barriers to successful WBL delivery. We also consider the state-of-play of WBL in Europe, reflecting on higher-level strategies and initiatives and on different WBL traditions in different European countries.
